The Traitor’s Wife: A Talk with Allison Pataki

Join us for a special evening with New York Times bestselling author Allison Pataki as she discusses her historical novel The Traitor’s Wife.

Set during the American Revolution, The Traitor’s Wife explores the story of Peggy Shippen Arnold and the influence she may have had on her husband, Benedict Arnold, and his infamous plot to betray America. Pataki brings this fascinating piece of Revolutionary history to life through historical fiction, offering a closer look at the woman behind one of the most notorious names in American history.

This special author reception is presented in partnership with the Putnam History Museum, Reed Memorial Library, and made possible with generous support from the George Whipple Foundation, Revolutionary Putnam County 250 Fund, as well as Tim Wallach and Fleur Fairman. Tickets are free, but donations are deeply appreciated.
