Revisiting Daniel Nimham: A Talk with Michael Keropian

This talk by Michael Keropian will delve into the deep research he undertook into the life of Wappinger Sachem Daniel Nimham. It retraces Nimham’s family members and his story found on deeds and documents. Keropian’s work contacting descendants, locating Wappinger bags, researching muskets at West Point and researching numerous accounts of Nimham and the Wappinger culminated in his creation of the statue of Sachem Nimham.
