Year-end Night at the Museum

The Museum invites members, supporters, and the community to a special year-end gathering on Friday, December 12, marking the closing of another successful season, and the opportunity to view two of the museums most recent acquisitions: an 1862 architectural drawing of the West Point Foundry; and a 19th Century bellows of the type used in the Foundry donated by Imogene Drummond. This gathering will also serve as an opportunity to offer a warm farewell to Kevin Price, who will be departing to pursue a new professional opportunity. Here is personal letter announcing his departure: 11 19 25_Departure Letter to the Members

From 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., guests are welcome to explore the museum’s galleries, which will be open for evening viewing accompanied by complimentary drinks and light refreshments. This celebratory event provides a final chance to enjoy the exhibitions before the museum enters its annual winter recess.

The museum’s final open day of the season will be Sunday, December 14, after which the galleries will close for winter and reopen in the spring. This is the last chance to see the exhibition “The Revolution in the Hudson Highlands: Part One” as the exhibition will be overhauled for Part Two, opening along with the museum in late spring of 2026.

The event is finished.
