The museum’s galleries will close for our yearly winter break after Sunday, December 14. We will reopen to the public with new and fresh exhibitions in May.
Programming continues year-round, however, so be sure to check out the events page for the next big thing!
Our weekly hours are as follows:

Wednesday: Open 12PM to 4PM
Thursday: Open 12PM to 4PM
Friday: Open 12PM to 4PM
Saturday: Open 12PM to 4PM
Sunday: Open 12PM to 4PM

The Putnam History Museum closes for a few months starting in December every year to refresh our exhibition spaces and plan for the next season of fun programs and events.
