The American Revolution in the Hudson Highlands
This new exhibition features artifacts, documents, and reproductions that tell the tale of this contested Hudson Valley region during the American Revolution. Learn local stories that you may not have heard before, and how they played into the founding of the United States.
As we approach the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution (#Rev250), this exhibition marks part one of two at the PHM highlighting the importance of the Hudson Highlands during this historic period, featuring stories from the first inklings of revolt through approximately 1779. For the second half of the story, you’ll have to return next year!
A Spotlight on Ships
This exhibition brings out highlights from the PHM’s collection with a nautical theme. “A Spotlight on Ships” brings together works from the 1800s that show the enduring nature of ships in the Hudson Valley as both a force in the economy, and as a lasting source of inspiration for local artists.
West Point Foundry
There is a permanent Foundry exhibition on display at PHM. It includes photographs, artifacts, paintings, maps, and videos highlighting the Foundry related objects within the PHM collection, including a fully restored 10-pounder Parrott Rifle.
