PHM’s 115th Annual Meeting featuring Linda Zimmerman – Mysterious Stone Sites in the Hudson Valley

The PHM is pleased to welcome Hudson Valley author Linda Zimmerman as part of their 115th Virtual Annual Meeting. This program is free and open to the public. Registration is required here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mysterious-stone-sites-in-the-hudson-valley-tickets-145531321099

There are mysteries in the woods of the Hudson Valley of New York and northern New Jersey. There are stone sites that are assumed to be the work of colonial farmers, but author and researcher Linda Zimmermann has found compelling evidence that disputes this misconception. Zimmermann explores stone chambers, perched boulders, standing stones, and massive walls that may just be unique historical treasures that must be studied and preserved. Could they be the work of Native Americans or Pre-Columbian voyagers?

About the Author

Linda Zimmermann is a research scientist turned award-winning author of over 30 books on science, history, the paranormal, and fiction, and has made numerous appearances on television and radio. As an amateur astronomer and local historian, Zimmermann had been fascinated with the unusual stones structures and boulders in the area, all of which were considered to be the work of colonial farmers. However, after years of research, she believes that the astronomical alignments prove that they are far more ancient and has compiled her findings in the new book Mysterious Stone Sites.
