Stories of the pandemic
Since early 2020, we have been living through an extraordinary moment of historic proportions. Museums and historical societies across the country are actively working to document this time by collecting stories, photographs, documents, and artifacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic. By documenting our present stories of struggle and triumph, future generations and researchers will have a better understanding of this moment in time.
There are several ways you can help us preserve these stories/photos/objects for future generations.
Do you have a story to share? Please use the form below to submit online, or email us at director@putnamhistorymuseum.org or by mail: Putnam History Museum, 63 Chestnut St. Cold Spring, NY 10516.
If you have collected physical documents or artifacts related to the pandemic and are interested in donating them to the museum, please contact Kevin Price, PHM Executive Director, at director@putnamhistorymuseum.org and John Duncan, PHM Collections Manager, at john@putnamhistorymuseum.org.
