DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Putnam History Museum for the opening of Revolutionary Visions, an exhibition that explores the roles of women in the Hudson Highlands during the American Revolution. This exhibition is made possible with support from the Putnam Arts Council and in collaboration with the Southeast Museum.\nRevolutionary Visions brings together art and history, featuring historical works in dialogue with new creations by commissioned local artists, including Renée Kilbride Edelman, Michael Keropian, Robyn Oakes, Cassandra Saulter, and Lisa Weinblatt. Together, the works explore the lives of women from various social classes, races, and allegiances during the American Revolutionary War, encouraging our collective reflection on the diverse roles women played during this transformative period in American history.\nOpening Reception\nDate: Friday, October 18th\nTime: 5 PM – 7 PM\nLocation: Putnam History Museum, 63 Chestnut Street, Cold Spring, NY\nCost: Free!
