Join us either in-person at the Putnam History Museum or stream it live virtually as we journey through the lives of 20 remarkable Putnam County women, spanning from the American Revolution to the present day.\nThroughout history, women have made significant societal contributions despite facing substantial challenges and obstacles. In Putnam County, women have made tangible, lasting impacts through their advocacy, leadership, and determination. From activists to educators, artists to entrepreneurs, these women have shaped the county’s history, and the Putnam History Museum invites you to celebrate their stories during this Lunch & Learn Talk.\nAbout the speaker:\nCassie Ward has served as the Executive Director of the Putnam History Museum in Cold Spring, New York, since September 2019. Holding a Master of Arts in History, with concentrations in American and Public History from American University, her experience includes roles in the Heritage Education Services Department of the National Park Service and National Register of Historic Places. Ward’s career in New York’s historic sites and museums began in 2015, marked by her involvement in over 20 exhibitions, countless public programs, and archival & special collections management.
