Please register below for this program (free).\nTest your historical knowledge and learn something new as we discuss Julia Butterfield, her family, and local legacy in honor of the Julia L. Butterfield Bicentennial Celebration.\nNo previous knowledge required! We will be sharing with you the pertinent information you will need to play along. The triumphs, the struggles, and the drama of these stories will all be explored by Putnam History Museum staff in this lighthearted look at this prominent woman.\nThe Julia L. Butterfield Memorial Library and Putnam History Museum organized the Julia L. Butterfield Bicentennial to honor Julia’s 200th birthday on December 19, 2023. This is the latest in a series of events and activities to commemorate her remarkable life and enduring legacy in Cold Spring. Her legacy positively impacts the Cold Spring community to this day as her last wishes included bequests for the construction of a library (Julia L.
