Jean Saunders History Contest Project Drop-Off at Desmond-Fish Library

Monday, January 8, 2018, 1:00-5:00pm

Museum staff will be present to receive projects only during the times above. Projects must be submitted in-person by the student. As a reminder, essays may be submitted in hard copy or by email. If essay is submitted by email, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. If you have not received a confirmation email after 24 hours, it is the student’s responsibility to contact the museum at 845-265-4010 or rachel@putnamhistorymuseum.org.

Projects received after 5:00pm on January 8th will be considered late. Late projects will be ineligible for competition; however, they will be displayed along with the other projects and acknowledged for participation during the contest ceremony.

Project Drop-Off Location:
Desmond–Fish Library, 472 Route 403, Garrison, NY
Projects will be accepted by museum staff in the lower level of the library.

2017/2018 Jean Saunders History Contest Awards Ceremony

We invite students, parents, family, and friends to attend the Jean Saunders History Contest awards ceremony and reception on Monday, January 22 at 6:30pm at Desmond-Fish Library. The snow-date will be Tuesday, January 23 at 6:30pm.

Join us for pizza and light refreshments followed by the awards ceremony. Contest winners will be announced during the ceremony and will include remarks on the competition and student submissions by PHM’s Executive Director, Mindy Krazmien.

Desmond-Fish Library is located at 472 Route 403, Garrison, NY.
